
While it is safe to say that the cannabis industry in the U.S. is still in its infancy, it is also fair to say that it has matured in at least two states, Washington and Colorado. With that maturity has come the phenomenal growth of two product categories that exploded in popularity far above that of traditional bud and leaf...vape pens and edibles.
Why these two product categories have seen such explosive growth can be explained by one word: demographics. The history of cannabis use in this country is one of illegal grows behind garages and in remote hillsides, which ultimately culminated in a cloud of smoke.
